Rules of Play:
- USGA Rules of Golf govern play, along with any local course rules.
- Play the ball as it lies unless otherwise specified by local rules or tournament officials.
- Players must hole out on every hole—no gimmes or concessions.
- If a doubt about a rule arises, play a second ball under Rule 20.1c and report to the committee before signing the scorecard.
Teeing Grounds:
- Players must play from the designated tournament tees.
- Men under 55 will play the Championship tees
- Men 55 and up will play from designated tee markers at approximately 92% of the championship tees
- Women will play from designated tee markers at approximately 82% of the championship tees
Pace of Play:
- Keep pace with the group ahead.
- A group is considered out of position if they fall behind by more than a hole.
- Penalties for slow play may be enforced.
Ball Lost or Out of Bounds:
- Stroke and distance apply—if a ball is lost or out of bounds, the player must replay from the previous spot with a one-stroke penalty.
- Provisional balls are encouraged if there is doubt about whether a ball is lost or out of bounds.
Drop Zones:
- If a drop zone is available for a penalty area, it may be used under penalty of one stroke.
No Preferred Lies:
- Unless otherwise stated, the ball must be played as it lies.
Bunkers:
- If bunkers are unraked due to maintenance issues, relief may be granted at the committee’s discretion.
Scoring:
- Each player is responsible for keeping an accurate scorecard.
- Exchange scorecards with another player in your group.
- Scorecards must be signed and attested before turning them in.
Ties:
- In the event of a tie for first place, a sudden-death playoff will determine the winner.
- All other ties will be decided by a scorecard playoff (USGA method).
Rules Officials & Tournament Committee:
- Any rules disputes should be brought to a rules official or committee member immediately.
Code of Conduct:
- Unsportsmanlike conduct, cheating, or excessive slow play will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification.
