Bobby Jones Golf Course is more than Atlanta’s premier public golf course — it’s an active part of our community and home to the Bobby Jones Golf Course Foundation, whose mission is making a difference through golf. Since reopening in 2018, the course has built a home for some of the most comprehensive junior and adaptive golf programming in the country — changing lives for kids, veterans, and people with disabilities alike.
In 2025, we engaged over 5,200 children through camps, clinics, and lessons; we have graduated more than 430 veterans through our PGA HOPE rehabilitation program to date; and the course is proud to host monthly adaptive golf events for players of all abilities, including patients from the Shepherd Center. Bobby Jones is the #1 Youth on Course facility in Georgia, the top PGA Junior League program in the state, and the only adaptive golf destination in Atlanta for golfers with disabilities. These programs reflect the life of Bobby Jones himself — the youth prodigy and the man who spent his final years in a wheelchair — and they helped Bobby Jones Golf Course earn recognition as the 2025 NGCOA Jemsek National Golf Course of the Year.
